In response to Crimson’s Creative Challenge #15
Crimsonprose posted a photo of a dying (dead?) plant. A sunflower, I believe.
My response: Back in the fall, I did a photo shoot that required a floral crown. This is the floral crown now (or rather, part of it). It’s long past its prime, but it’s still kind of pretty… in its own way.
A brilliant and apt answer. 🙂
BTW, what sort of flower is it? I tried to recognise it by the leaf but … maybe it’s one lesser known in UK?

I believe it’s a coreopsis flower. I “pilfered” it from my neighbour’s garden. (It borders on our driveway. Don’t worry, we have a good relationship with our neighbours.)
