“Robins in the Snow” / Theme: April Fool
A little about this photo…
I didn’t think I’d be able to use the ‘April Fool’ prompt, but here I am! Yesterday was April Fool’s Day and the weather felt like it was playing a little trick on us. A little snow? You bet! But the robins are out despite the snow. Because they know the truth. It’s spring!
THIS 2022 WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE – This year is my fifth year of doing this challenge! (I began in 2018.) For more information about the list of prompts for this year, click on this link. And join me in posting your own photos every Saturday with #2022picoftheweek
Same here Maria, today we got showers and a few snowflakes!!! The fruit trees are blooming and we had zero degrees celcius this morning. Crazy weather. We have robins in Italy, but they are half the size of North American robins.

I hope the blossoms are okay with those low temps!

There was ice on the windshield this morning. The peaches and plums may have suffered. But the apple trees are not in bloom yet. So I may have a few apples this year.

Agree. When you see them in full force at the end of winter, you know spring here!

Snow and robins? Yeah, the weather can be tricky. Thanks for a sweet photo.

I figure the robins know what they’re doing. They’ve been around through a few snows now. We got a couple inches of snow Friday night after a day of rain.

I thought I’d commented on this on Saturday. Apologies for being so late. I loved it, ingenious use of the prompt. Doubt I’ll get a chance to use it though 🙂
