“New for 22” / Theme: A New Year
A little about this photo…
See that top notebook? It’s brand new, and it’s ready for a new year. There’s something very satisfying about flipping through a notebook of empty pages. The other two notebooks are filled to the brim with thoughts, quotes, to-do items, etc. I also find it satisfying to flip through those notebooks as well, to see where I’ve been.

What a lovely photo! The darkness makes the notebooks look so intriguing—I want to reach write into the photo and start writing in them! And the shades in the background look great too—they remind me a little of lined pages from a notebook, actually! And I love how this ties into the new year—keeping a different notebook for each year is really fun.
I also posted a photo for this prompt just now at ascrapbookofstories [dot] blogspot [dot] com. Thanks so much for sharing and hosting this great challenge, Maria!

What a lovely photo. I love the light in this one. And I do love a fresh, clean notebook. I could spend all my money at the stationary store, except for the money I spend at the bookstore. 😉

Hello. What a great picture you’ve used for New Year. The bingo board prompts are great, with ideas and also latitude in interpretation. I am going to try and do this and will try to do it on time next week. Thank you for running the challenge.

Love this, Maria! I feel exactly the same way about my notebooks. My mother and my mother-in-law both gave me a new journal last month. I’m excited to fill them up this year.

I also have a pile of notebooks. Most of them are old agendas our vendors hand out during the holiday season. I also flip through them to find inspiration for my next novel or illustrations. Great close-up and composition, Maria! I haven’t had much time on hand to post my photos, but will try to post at least a few this year. Take care.
