Photo Challenge #46 / All is Calm

20211106ma_3927“Waterfall Calm” / Theme: All is Calm

A little about this photo…

There’s something very calming about water and waterfalls. I even feel the calm just looking at the photo.

To get that soft-looking water, I shot at f22 with my shutter speed at 0.4 seconds.

This, by the way, is the Lower Falls at Ball’s Falls in Ontario.

  1. This is such a beautiful photo! The trees, the cliff, the waterfall itself—it’s all so lovely and framed so well. I have never had the chance to see a waterfall in person—I hope I get a chance to at some point!

I also posted a photo for the challenge at ascrapbookofstories [dot] blogspot [dot] com. Thanks so much for sharing and for hosting this great challenge!

  2. Waterfalls truly are restful places. Alas, in our flatlands, we have none.
And apologies for being so late this week. I’ve drastically cut my computer-time down to save my arm from real bad pain (flare-up of an old problem). It’s easing now, but I’m still restricting my use of it
